Geothermal Exploration Services

PSS-GEO provides geothermal exploration and related services:

  • Geophysical Surveys: Conducting seismic, electrical resistivity, and electromagnetic surveys to accurately model subsurface structures and identify geothermal reservoirs.

  • Geothermal Resource Mapping: Developing thematic maps using publicly available datasets to identify geothermal potential, including heat flux and temperature distributions at various depths.

  • Geothermal Site Assessment: Providing feasibility studies to assess the viability of geothermal resources for energy production, including depth accuracy, flow rate predictions, and drilling zone identification.

  • Data Integration Services: Integrating well log data (density, resistivity, gamma, etc.) with seismic data to enhance subsurface understanding and improve targeting accuracy for geothermal exploration.

  • Historical Data Reinterpretation: Utilizing legacy data such as old seismic and resistivity surveys to create updated 3D models and refine geothermal resource assessments.

  • SMART City Solutions: Consulting on how geothermal data and geophysical methods can be integrated into smart city infrastructure, supporting sustainable energy management and urban heating systems.

  • Risk Mitigation in Exploration: Offering risk-reduction strategies for geothermal exploration projects, including the use of advanced geophysical methods and predictive models to improve exploration success rates.

  • Geothermal Energy Efficiency Optimization: Developing strategies to enhance the efficiency of geothermal energy systems, including low-enthalpy systems for district heating and waste energy integration.

  • Geophysical Training and Workshops: Organizing educational sessions, workshops, and technical knowledge transfer events for local stakeholders, authorities, and students focused on geothermal exploration techniques and sustainability.

  • Environmental Impact Assessment: Providing geophysical studies and environmental monitoring to assess and mitigate the impact of geothermal energy extraction on local ecosystems, including greenhouse gas emissions and sustainable resource management.
